SKB Turbina (part of the High-Precision Complexes holding) has successfully completed testing of the new APN-18 small-sized power plant with a capacity of 18 kW. This was reported in the press service of the holding.
The unit has worked for more than 5,000 hours and confirmed its high resource. The tests were carried out at one of the gas fields in the Komi Republic.
The unit is designed to provide energy to industrial facilities. APN-18 uses natural gas as fuel.
The main feature of the new power plant is its compact size. The height and length of the APN-18 are just over 2 meters, and the width is just under a meter. These dimensions will allow the new equipment to be integrated into the existing infrastructure of enterprises without additional state expertise.
The new unit will allow import substitution of foreign equipment at Russian fuel and energy enterprises.
Earlier www1.ru reported that in Novosibirsk they created a power plant for all climatic conditions.
