The vehicle fleet of the Mirny Highway Administration (Mirny, Yakutia) has been replenished with an ED-600 AK airfield vehicle on a KamAZ 6x4 chassis. The special equipment clears the road of snow at a speed of 60 km/h.
ED-600 AK operates on new sections with asphalt concrete pavement. The machine is equipped with summer and winter equipment. Replacing attachments without using a crane takes up to an hour.
Currently, the ED-600 AK is equipped with a high-speed blade for snow removal and a sand spreader.
In addition, the Mirny Highway Administration purchased a fuel tanker with a capacity of 15 cubic meters. The equipment, which is characterized by increased cross-country ability, delivers fuel to repair and construction teams at the Ust-Kut and Nakyn winter roads.
Characteristics of ED-600 AK: chassis — KamAZ 6x4, number of tanks — 7 pieces, number of nozzles — 36 on the rear ramp and 48 on the folding wings, speed — 60 km/h, operation at temperatures from -25°C to +100°C.
