The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) has handed over the first batch of new Su-35S multirole fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) in 2025. This was reported in the press service of Rostec.
The 4++ generation fighters have passed a full cycle of factory tests, were accepted by the technical staff and tested in various operating modes by pilots of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The aircraft flew to the home airfield.
The First Deputy General Director of Rostec, Vladimir Artyakov, noted that new batches of aviation complexes are currently in varying degrees of readiness at the state corporation's enterprises. They will be handed over as part of this year's state defense order.
The fighters are equipped with advanced weapons and long-range information and sighting systems. The aircraft is designed to gain air superiority, destroy ground and surface targets day and night in simple and complex weather conditions. At the same time, the machine is capable of operating at great distances from the home airfield.
