Exeed has introduced the new VX C-DM hybrid crossover in the Chinese market, which will be assembled in Russia. The model combines impressive characteristics — 775 hp, all-wheel drive, a length of 5 meters, top-end equipment, and economical fuel consumption of only 1.5 l/100 km.
The Exeed VX is offered in two configurations, both with all-wheel drive and a range of up to 180 km on pure electricity. Prices for the model range from 209.9 thousand yuan (about 28.9 thousand dollars or 2.43 million rubles) to 233.9 thousand yuan (33 thousand dollars or 2.78 million rubles), including a trade-in discount.
The crossover has dimensions of 5010 x 1940 x 1800 mm and a wheelbase of 2900 mm, making it an analogue of the hybrid Toyota Highlander. The SUV can be either 6- or 7-seater, which adds convenience for traveling with a large family or company.
Under the hood of the Exeed VX is a hybrid power plant, including a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 156 hp and two electric motors with a total output of 619 hp. The system reaches a peak of 775 hp, allowing the car to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds. A 34.46 kWh battery provides 180 km of electric range, and the total range, considering the hybrid mode, is up to 1300 km.
The interior of the crossover is also impressive. Inside, there are three screens: two with a diagonal of 12.3 inches for the driver and passenger, and one 15.6-inch display for the media system. The top configuration includes 10 airbags, including long side curtain airbags (2.6 meters long), a leather interior, and front seats with adjustment, ventilation, heating, and massage. The car is also equipped with a panoramic roof with a sunroof and various driver assistance systems.
In addition to the VX model, the hybrid Exeed RX will also be assembled in Russia, expanding the lineup of popular brand cars.
