Footage has appeared online, presumably of the chassis for the mobile medium-range missile system "Oreshnik". The system could have been developed by specialists from the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant (MZKT), said military expert Evgeny Damantsev.
Thus, local residents filmed a previously unknown chassis with a 12x12 wheel arrangement on the streets of Minsk.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated that the republic isdeveloping launchers for Russian hypersonic ballistic missiles "Oreshnik", equipped with six 11.5-Mach warheads with individual guidance.
Russian President Vladimir Putin noted thatthe "Oreshnik" warheads attack targets at speeds up to 10 Mach or about 3 km/s, and Western air defense systems have no way to intercept them.
Earlier, www1.ru reported thatthe latest thermal imaging sight for machine guns was developed in Russia, it "sees" up to 3 km.
