The "Ural Locomotives" plant (part of "Sinara – Transport Machines") presented a traction motor and inverter and gearbox elements for a high-speed train.
The TAD650 asynchronous traction electric motor is manufactured by "Russian Electric Motors" (part of "Transneft"). Its nominal power is declared at 650 kW, the nominal shaft rotation frequency is 5900 rpm, the efficiency is at least 95%, and the weight is 750 kg.
The traction inverter was created at the "Horizon" Research and Production Association. The device is compact. Domestic software and a modular architecture were used in its design. The inverter efficiency is at least 98%.
Currently, the "Ural Locomotives" plant is preparing a site to start production of high-speed trains.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia continues to work on creating the first trains for the high-speed railway line (HSR) Moscow – St. Petersburg.
