The rear suspension arm of the future Lada Iskra has been spotted online. The photo shows that the large welded part has a seat for a spring.
Apparently, the Iskra's rear suspension will be a simple and reliable system with a beam.
Earlier, the first shots of the front suspension arm of the Lada Iskra also surfaced. The photo shows a stamped metal part, which looks very different from a similar part on the Granta.
The Lada Iskra will be equipped with a 1.6-liter engine. Buyers will have a choice of two manual transmissions: a 5-speed from AvtoVAZ and a 6-speed from the Chinese manufacturer WLY. Top versions of the car with a CVT are also planned.
