Sollers ST8 all-wheel drive pickups have gone on sale in Russia. This was announced by the editor-in-chief of "Behind the Wheel", Maxim Kadakov.
The factory warranty for the Sollers ST8 pickup is three years or 150,000 km. In the basic Optimum configuration with a gasoline engine, the price is 2,820,000 rubles, and the Luxe version is offered for 2,920,000 rubles.
The surcharge for a diesel engine for any configuration is 100,000 rubles. When buying a car on credit or under a leasing agreement, a benefit of 100,000 rubles is provided.
For comparison, the Chinese analogue JAC T8 with a 177-horsepower gasoline engine costs 3.06 million rubles, and the diesel version costs 3.26 million rubles. Thus, the Russian Sollers ST8 is significantly cheaper, but more powerful than similar models.
Sollers ST6 and Sollers ST8 technically copy the JAC T6, which is built on the basis of the Toyota Hilux. These cars have a frame and front suspension unified with the Land Cruiser Prado. The cars are equipped with power units and gearboxes produced in Russia.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Sollers in 2025 will present several new products in commercial transport.
