Rostec has developed an autopilot for light aircraft - the innovative AP-MVL system. The development has already received a patent and has successfully passed flight tests, the state corporation's press service reported.
The new system is easy to operate and has high reliability.
The system includes a digital control panel-computer, as well as actuators in the form of servo drives connected in parallel to the aircraft control system. At the same time, the autopilot is interfaced via digital interfaces with information systems such as course vertical, air signal and navigation systems, as well as electromechanical trimming mechanisms.
This solution allows maintaining a high level of flight safety by maintaining the controllability and stability of the aircraft.
The technical characteristics of the AP-MVL make it possible to use it on modernized and designed light aircraft.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that specialists of PJSC "Yakovlev" together with the Moscow Institute of Electromechanics and Automationcreated algorithms for the automatic control system (ACS) for the domestic SJ-100 aircraft.
