Военные придумали, как продлить работу джойстиков от дронов: пример русской смекалки

Operators use hand warmers to protect batteries from the cold

Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators in Russian army units in cold weather put hand warmers in thermal bags to extend the life of batteries in drone joysticks, according to a UAV operator with the call sign Maloy.

To prevent batteries from draining too quickly in the cold, we put hand warmers in thermal bags together with the batteries. This reduces their power consumption and allows them to last much longer.

Another drone operator with the call sign Litvin added that on average, a UAV flight takes seven minutes, and after dropping ammunition on a target, a planned control flight is performed.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian T220 targeting pod was unexpectedly spotted on the Algerian Air Force MiG-29M.
