AvtoVAZ has started developing a new Lada Vesta in a higher class C. This was announced by the company's Vice President for Engineering, Evgeny Shmelev.
We are working on a new Vesta, in class C.
The current Lada Vesta models belong to class B+. The first production Vesta cars with a six-speed manual transmission from the Chinese manufacturer WLY have already rolled off the AvtoVAZ assembly line.
The length of a class C car varies from 4.1 to 4.6 m. The standard engine size is 1.6 to 2.0 liters. Sedans, station wagons, and five-door hatchbacks are the most common in this class.
Examples of class C cars are Volkswagen Golf, Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla, Ford Focus, Hyundai Elantra, Peugeot 308 and Opel Astra.
Previously, the full specifications of Lada Iskra became known; the car will be equipped with a multimedia system with Yandex services.
