Fresh footage of the pre-production Lada Iskra SW station wagon has been released — now in blue. AvtoVAZ presented this novelty to Russian President Vladimir Putin at the plant in Tolyatti.
Lada Iskra SW will be equipped with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 90 and 106 hp, a six-speed "mechanics" or a Chinese variator — depending on the version. The car may occupy a niche between Lada Vesta and Lada Granta.
The exact date of the start of sales of Lada Iskra is still unknown, as is the price of the new product. Approximately, the start of production is scheduled for April of this year.
