Employees of the military-industrial holding company "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" (KMZ) have begun construction of a self-propelled pontoon (project 20931). This was reported by the holding's press service.

Specialists from SKB-1 and the holding's production sites are involved in the construction of the vessel. Project 20931 is being implemented for a shipbuilding plant in the Leningrad Region.

About the Project 20931 Pontoon

A pontoon is a boat designed to deliver personnel, cargo, or equipment with a total weight of up to 5 tons from a carrier vessel to the shore. The pontoon can be operated in coastal, raid, or port areas at a distance of no more than 8 km from the carrier vessel.
