Footage of a Russian T-72B3M main battle tank with an intricate anti-drone screen has appeared online. It visually resembles dreadlocks.
The tank received a large screen to protect the upper hemisphere, which is often called a "barbecue grill." The product consists of a rigid frame above the turret and hull, as well as steel ropes forming a protective dome.
Such structures are designed to protect armored vehicles from kamikaze drone strikes.
T-72B3M is a modernized version of the T-72B3 tank, which received a new sighting system with a digital display, as well as a television rear-view camera.
The combat vehicle received a new 125 mm caliber gun with increased barrel life, new fire-fighting equipment, a new R-168-25U-2 "Aqueduct" VHF radio station and a Sosna-U multi-channel gunner sight. The armor of the combat vehicle is reinforced with side screens with "Relikt" dynamic protection modules.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the innovative fiber-optic drone "Knyaz Vandal" will be produced under franchise in various regions of Russia.
