Rosaviatsiya told how flight safety is currently ensured in the European part of Russia

Flight routes are developed taking into account all possible risks for aircraft

The flight safety management system of all key participants in the air transport industry in Russia is at the required level. This was stated by the press secretary of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya), Artyom Korenyako.

According to him, flight routes in the European part of the Russian Federation are developed taking into account all possible risks for aircraft.

If information is received about the introduction of restrictions in a certain flight information region and/or airport of the Russian Federation, air traffic control bodies immediately take measures to inform airspace users, as well as change flight routes. Flight safety is the highest priority for the Ministry of Transport of Russia and Rosaviatsiya. Specialists of the Ministry and the agency are continuously involved in ensuring flights, maintaining the airworthiness of aviation equipment, training aviation personnel, and developing preventive measures in the field of flight safety based on the analysis of a large array of data.

Earlier, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) issued a warning to international airlines about the risks associated with flights in five Russian regions. Rosaviatsiya considers it part of the sanctions war and attempts at competitive struggle by dirty methods, noting that "this recommendation "with concern for safety" looks especially absurd in the context of the ongoing sanctions and bans on the supply of spare parts and components for aircraft, and not only for Russian airlines".
