Production of Lada Iskra at AvtoVAZ is 95% ready. Currently, the plant is carrying out pilot production of sedans and station wagons of this family. Unique footage was shared by the Telegram channel "Avtopotok".
The Iskra welding line is a separate production. Painting and assembly will be carried out in a single stream with Grants, in SKP Kalina.
At the moment, the production speed of the promising series is several units per day.
At the welding stage, some operations are still performed using manual tongs, but by the time the production of finished cars begins, automatic robots will be installed.
AvtoVAZ is increasing the production rate of Lada Iskra. As it became known earlier, cars are produced in white and silver colors, but for now they are equipped with technological plastic.
A few days ago, AvtoVAZ assembled a test Lada Iskra car, painted in the new Tabasco color.
