The production company "Rhythm" presented the new AG34 tactical pickup truck at the "Vezdekhoder-2024" exhibition, created by engineer and off-road vehicle designer Alexey Garagashyan.
The AG34 pickup is designed with an emphasis on several key aspects: ease of manufacture, maintenance, and repair in the field, as well as excellent performance characteristics. During transverse stability tests, the angle of separation of the first wheel was 50°, which clearly demonstrates its excellent off-road qualities. This makes the pickup highly efficient and reliable in any extreme conditions.
All components, including the YaMZ-534 engine with 240 hp, are fully manufactured in Russia, which eliminates dependence on imported supplies. The spatial frame of the pickup guarantees the necessary safety for use in car racing. The cabin accommodates two people with equipment, and the carrying capacity of the car is 1.5 tons, with the possibility of overloading up to 3 tons. The pickup body is designed to transport up to 8 people with equipment or two stretchers, which increases the total capacity to 10 people.
The off-road capabilities of the AG34 are striking in their performance. Ground clearance varies from 300 to 400 mm depending on tire pressure and load. The maximum speed of the pickup is 120 km/h, and the range is up to 1000 km. The pickup is capable of overcoming water obstacles up to 2 meters deep without preliminary preparation. Additionally, the car is equipped with disc brakes, a central tire inflation system, a winch with a pulling force of 9 tons, and wheels measuring 1260×390-20, which makes it ideal for working in the most difficult conditions.
AG34 demonstrates the capabilities of domestic production, capable of dispensing with imported technologies, while having a significant margin of safety. Ease of maintenance, high reliability and excellent performance make this tactical pickup indispensable in emergency situations. To transport two such pickups, one standard truck is enough, which greatly simplifies their logistics.
