Upon landing at Antalya Airport, a Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft of "Azimuth" airline had its SaM-146 engine catch fire. The 87 passengers and 4 crew members on board were evacuated.
The aircraft with tail number RA-89085 was operating flight A45051 from Sochi to Antalya. The power plant caught fire after landing on runway 36R.
Fire crews promptly arrived at the scene. There were no reports of casualties.
According to preliminary information, no system failures were recorded on board; the cause of the fire in the SSJ-100 aircraft engine of "Azimuth" airline was a strike against the runway due to a hard landing in adverse weather conditions.

The aircraft is more than seven years old. The first flight was performed on February 2, 2017. It is known that last year, "Azimuth" replenished its fleet with 100 SSJ 100 aircraft.
Rosaviatsiya has launched an investigation into the emergency with the aircraft in Antalya.
