Подмосковный «Арсенал» начал выпуск миллионов чипов, диодов и микросхем для авиации и космоса

Total investment in the project amounted to more than one billion rubles

The Arsenal plant in the Moscow region (part of the Promtech corporation) has opened a new facility for the production of components for civil aviation, space products, telecommunications equipment, and automotive electronics. According to the press service of the regional government, the launch of production was personally attended by the Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov.

It is noted that the total investment in the project amounted to more than 1 billion rubles, of which more than 80 million rubles were provided by the Moscow Region Industry Development Fund.

The 10,000 sq. m. of the new building houses R&D divisions, crystal production, high-tech automated assembly lines for semiconductor electronic component base, microwave modules, and cable assemblies for space applications.

It is expected that the site will produce up to 200 million chips per year, more than 110 million diodes, transistors, and microcircuits. They will replace imported solutions that Russia previously used.
