JSC "Russian Railways" (RZD) showed what the interior of the first domestic high-speed train for the HSR-1 Moscow – St. Petersburg looks like. The future interior of the locomotive was presented at the "Transport of Russia" forum-exhibition.
The train has four service classes:
- First class in the head car — 15 seats.
- Business class in the second car — 68 seats.
- Standard class (4th and 5th cars) — 136 seats.
- Comfort class (the remaining cars) — 230 seats.
The high-speed train will also include a meeting compartment for four passengers and a suite compartment for two seats.
It is worth noting that the first train for the high-speed line HSR-1 Moscow-St. Petersburg will begin testing in 2027. The train is scheduled to be put into operation in the second quarter of 2028.
Earlier www1.ru reported that 100 enterprises will be involved in the construction of the HSR Moscow-St. Petersburg.
