A new service has appeared at VimpelCom. It allows users to use two "SIM cards" with one subscriber number. At the same time, the second SIM card can be either a regular one or an e-SIM.
You can receive calls on both "SIM cards", make calls and send messages from two SIM cards as well, but SMS messages will only be received on the main "SIM card". The cost of the service is 150 rubles per month, the first 30 days are free. Traffic and minute packages will be the same for both SIM cards.
Note that when cloning SIM cards, SMS messages usually arrive on both "SIM cards", but VimpelCom, apparently, specifically limited their reception to the main one in order to guarantee the safety of funds in accounts or the safety of access to "Gosuslugi" in case of loss of the device with the second card.
VimpelCom hopes that the service will interest more than 1 million subscribers. How much the company intends to spend on its implementation is unknown.
