НГТУ получил виртуальный энергоблок для обучения атомщиков

The virtual power unit, developed by Rosatom, is used to train future nuclear power plant engineers

The Rosatom State Corporation has developed the "Virtual NPP Power Unit" software and hardware complex designed to train nuclear engineers. This complex was transferred to the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named after Alekseev (NSTU) for use in the educational process.

The complex includes a unique set of program codes developed by employees of Atomenergoproekt based on domestic software. This data is certified and actively used in current projects related to the design and operation of nuclear power plants.

Igor Bronnikov, First Deputy General Director of Atomenergoproekt, emphasized that the use of a virtual power unit allows students to study the technological processes associated with the management and operation of nuclear power plants in practice without leaving the classroom. This helps to significantly speed up the training of specialists, reducing the time it takes for them to adapt in the workplace, including at enterprises of the Rosatom State Corporation.
