Domestic laptop brands bypassed Western companies Dell, HP, and Apple in sales in Russia in the first nine months of this year. The share of Russian equipment in the market amounted to 11.6% against 10% for foreign equipment.
The success is explained by the fact that domestic companies invested in advertising after the departure of competitors from the USA. At the same time, Chinese and Taiwanese companies are still leaders in the laptop market in Russia. Their share is 70%.
It is worth recalling that from January to mid-October, 2.58 million laptops were sold in Russia for a total of 163.3 billion rubles. This is 12% more compared to the overall figures for last year in monetary terms and 6% in quantitative terms.
