Нейросети заменяют журналистов: RT использует ИИ для создания виртуальных ведущих и контента

RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan stated that many of the channel's anchors are entirely generated by AI

RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan stated that a significant portion of the channel's TV presenters, as well as content for social networks, are created using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. She explained that many of RT's virtual presenters are completely generated — they have no real prototypes, and the images are created from scratch: their appearance, voice, and characteristic features were generated.

In addition, Simonyan noted that RT actively uses AI to select and create images, which made it possible to abandon full-time photo editors, which significantly reduces production costs. AI is also used to voice materials, including a recently created film about the Great Patriotic War, as well as for automatic translation of speech, including speeches by President Vladimir Putin, into other languages.

Simonyan expressed the opinion that such technologies will eventually completely change journalism, which, like many professions, will gradually disappear. She compared this to the disappearance of the profession of coachmen.
