New UAZ "Profi" and "Bukhanka" are equipped with black emblems. Chrome has disappeared from the front of these cars. This has been noticed by automotive public pages.
Thus, on the official website of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant in the "Configurator" section, all models display black emblem logos, there is no chrome on the "Patriots" in the maximum trim level. The chrome inscription remains only on the doors of the "Profi" model. This is probably due to cost reduction. Black labels began to replace chrome on "Patriots", "Pickups" and "Hunters" back in 2022. Now the Ulyanovsk residents have deprived the chrome and the company emblem.
Note that in 2025, the "Patriot" models and "Pickup" will be updated. The cars will get a new appearance, a Chinese two-liter engine, a new domestic six-speed manual transmission, and the "Hunter" will be equipped with an engine from the "Patriot". After that, the prices will, of course, increase.
