The "AGR" automobile plant summed up the results of work for 9 months of 2024, noting the successful development and strengthening of the Solaris brand in the Russian market. From February to September, the plant produced more than 17,000 cars, and from March to September, 13,779 units were sold. Despite the relatively recent appearance of the brand, Solaris already ranks third in the sedan class, which indicates a rapid increase in its popularity.
Production at the plant in St. Petersburg is organized according to the full cycle technology, while maintaining all international quality standards, which emphasizes high localization. An important role is also played by the constantly expanding dealer network, which has 81 partners in 55 cities throughout Russia, including both Kaliningrad and Vladivostok. New visual identification standards have already been implemented in 69% of auto centers, which is also planned to be completed by the end of the year.
Financial support for buyers remains an important factor in growth. More than 25% of cars are sold through their own financial instruments, including credit programs, installments and trade-in services with benefits of up to 160,000 rubles. There is also a corporate sales program, which helps to expand coverage and attract business clients.
The company noted that Solaris was able to achieve significant success in a short period, doubling sales in the last three months. In the future, it is planned to increase the level of production localization and develop digital services, while continuing to expand its geographical presence in the market.
