The Kazan Helicopter Plant will start creating a new type of helicopter, the Mi-34. This was announced by the head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.
According to the head of the republic, new production buildings have been built at the plant, and a production and training center has been launched.
The plant needs to complete all procedures for launching the "Ansat" helicopter on the market in a fully import-substituted form. Also, this year, a decision was made to produce a new type of helicopter, the Mi-34, at the plant.
Additionally, it was noted that the production is carrying out activities to modernize Tu-214 aircraft. In the near future, it is planned to put into operation workshops for heat treatment and coating, final assembly, and machining.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Ka-52K "Katran" practiced landing on the Russian frigate "Admiral Golovko".
