Russian military personnel at the forefront use 152-mm self-propelled artillery units 2S3M "Acacia" of domestic production. The video presented by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation captures footage of the combat work of the equipment after receiving the coordinates of enemy positions from the UAV crew.
The 152-mm divisional self-propelled howitzer 2S3 "Acacia" is designed to suppress and destroy enemy manpower and military equipment. The 2S3 SPG entered service with the artillery regiments of motorized rifle and tank divisions. The main ammunition load of the SPG includes cumulative and high-explosive fragmentation shells.
"Acacia" is capable of firing special ammunition: fragmentation-chemical, nuclear, chemical. Corrected "Krasnopol" and "Centimeter" projectiles with a semi-active laser homing system have been developed for it.
"Acacia" has good cross-country ability, is reliable and easy to operate. It does not require special lengthy preparation to be brought into combat readiness.
A commander's turret with a machine gun is located on the roof of the SPG. The self-entrenching equipment installed on the SPG allows it to dig a trench in 20-40 minutes to shelter the unit, and it is also equipped with an anti-nuclear protection system.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that the Russian Buk-M2 opened the hunting season for F-1 fighters. Soldiers can easily identify enemy aircraft by their aerodynamic characteristics and shoot them down.
