JSC "KAMA" (developer of the domestic electric vehicle "Atom") and JSC "PPMTS "Permsnabssbyt" (PSS) have signed a cooperation agreement. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.
The document was signed within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum -2024.
"Atom" and PSS will join forces to develop a unified approach to the implementation of the OCPP 2.0.1 protocol, which has been defined by the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia as the standard for all charging stations starting from January 2025. In addition, "Atom" is implementing promising and innovative technologies for the Russian market, such as Plug & Charge and V2G. PSS, acting as one of the leading manufacturers of charging stations, will cooperate with us directly, conducting laboratory tests on the compatibility of PSS charging stations with "Atom" systems.
A joint working group will be engaged in testing charging devices for electric vehicles.
We, Russian industrialists, understand the importance of import substitution, therefore we are working to ensure that breakthrough technologies in electronics from Atom and PSS Corporation have a synergistic effect and bring Russian high-tech products to a new level, surpassing existing foreign solutions.
It is worth noting that in 2023, 31 charging stations for electric vehicles were installed in the Perm region, which has about 1.5 thousand of them. Another same number of charging devices will appear in this region this year.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the number of charging stations for electric transport in Moscow will increase to 30 thousand by 2030.
