The Novosibirsk company RXSailing has jointly developed a domestic sailing yacht for children. This was reported by the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the region.
The new yacht model "RX1" is a single-masted vessel with a retractable keel. It is based on the geometry of an English yacht.
The production is fully organized in Novosibirsk, all materials are domestic. Over the winter, we can provide the necessary volume of boats for the Russian Federation
The hull of the new model is made of polymer. 10 RX1 yachts were produced.
Under the import substitution program, we have made a different class of boats, which is much cheaper. It is more seaworthy, faster. It is easier to repair.
The developers plan to conduct tests. After that, the vessel will be entered into a special register, and competitions in this class of boats will be included in the unified calendar plan of sports events.
