The Russian government will continue to finance the creation and purchase of new Russian aircraft, and there is money for such purposes. This was announced by the head of the Cabinet, Mikhail Mishustin.
The Prime Minister noted that budget expenditures will affect not only stimulating demand from airlines. According to him, the authorities intend to facilitate the creation of an after-sales service system as well.
We will finance the production and purchase of aircraft for this purpose, including through the use of funds from the National Welfare Fund. We will actively use instruments to stimulate demand for new equipment, including assistance in creating an after-sales service system.
Mishustin recalled that President Vladimir Putin had set a goal to increase the number of domestic airliners by 2030.
