Forbes: This UAV Cannot Be Detected by Conventional Direction Finding Methods

Russian strike FPV drones "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky" cannot be detected by conventional methods of countering aerial threats, according to Forbes.

The author drew attention to a viral video on the Web demonstrating the use of Russian wired drones. He stated that the recording is of good quality, which was previously unavailable to known FPV drones due to signal loss from interference.

In addition, these devices are resistant to electronic warfare countermeasures.

Fiber optic drones and their operators cannot be located and detected by conventional direction finding methods due to the absence of radio signals. They are protected from spoofing and electronic interference used to protect objects from drones.
