The Kirov District Court of Omsk has ordered the payment of 3.5 million rubles to the buyer of a "UAZ Profi" car. The money for the frequently breaking down SUV will be paid to the man by the dealer "Avtodom Siberia Motors."
A resident of Omsk purchased the car in March 2021. The car cost him 810 thousand rubles. During operation, hidden defects were discovered in the car. One of which was engine overheating.
In two years, the car has been in service eight times. In total, it was repaired under warranty for 108 days. The man got tired of it, and he went to court demanding to terminate the purchase agreement.
After the court decision, "Avtodom Siberia Motors" is obliged to take the car, terminate the contract and pay 3.5 million rubles. This amount includes penalties, fines, compensation for moral damage, and the difference between the amount paid for the car in 2021 and the cost of the "UAZ Profi" in 2024. Currently, prices for this car start from 1 million 850 thousand rubles.
