The Federal Customs Service has published statistics on the import of cars into Russia from January to mid-August of this year through the customs offices of the Far East. Most of the cars were bought for personal use and turned out to be passenger cars.
Thus, from January to mid-August 2024, 151.5 thousand cars entered our country. Imports through the customs offices of the Far East increased by 14.7% compared to the same period last year.
Most of the cars come from China, South Korea and Japan. Only 0.3% of the total flow of imported cars are trucks, all the rest are cars.
