«Мотылек» с уникальным мотором: в Зеленограде создали тяжелый дрон с асинхронным двигателем

The model has no analogues in the world

The company "SovElMash" presented the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) "Butterfly". The device is equipped with an asynchronous motor and has no analogues in the world.

"Butterfly" was created according to the quadcopter scheme. The UAV is equipped with four engines for propellers. The basis of each of them is a 318-size asynchronous motor-wheel. Its maximum power is 60 kW, and its weight is about 24 kg.

The asynchronous motor-wheel is made on the basis of the patented technology of combined windings "Slavyanka". Its peculiarity lies in the fact that both types of windings are combined in one electric motor — "triangle" and "star". They form an angle of 30 electrical degrees between each other. This allows you to optimize the characteristics of the model.

The advantages of the motor are noise and vibration reduction, increased reliability, reduction of inrush currents, increase of starting torque and reduction of cost.

The heavy-duty drone "Butterfly" is planned to be used for cargo transportation. It was created from domestic components with the exception of batteries and a control controller. The model has already passed intermediate tests.

Earlier www1.ru reported that in Novosibirsk created the SARMA cargo drone.
