Заменит обе ноги: в России разработали экзоскелет для людей с ампутированными ногами

The device is controlled by hand gestures

Russian specialists have created an exoskeleton. The development will make life easier for people with amputated legs or paralysis of the lower extremities. This was reported by the press service of the National Technological Initiative (NTI).

The exoskeleton is a frame to support the body. It is attached to the legs and allows movement.

The Russian team of developers has invented an exoskeleton for people with amputation of both legs, which is controlled both by hand gestures and with the help of specified movement patterns. Thanks to this, the user will safely and comfortably move around any terrain, controlling the management in different ways depending on the situation.

The device mimics the work of the legs, adapting to the load and other conditions. Special gyroscopes help maintain balance.

The exoskeleton distributes the weight of the body. This makes it possible to reduce the load on muscles and joints, making movement easy.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the most powerful newest exoskeleton was assembled in Russia.
