Pella Shipyard, in collaboration with the Splav association, has developed a project for a high-speed landing craft of Project 03160E "Raptor 2.0". It can be armed with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
We presented a concept project of the modernized "Raptor", which has been thoroughly developed and is ready for mass production if an order is received from the Ministry of Defense.
The landing strike boat will be able to carry two MLRS launchers. Danekin noted that all the advantages of the basic "Raptor" have been preserved in the modernized version.
The device received a Chinese propulsion system. The length of the boat was increased by 1.5 meters due to the new units, which had a positive effect on its speed characteristics. The power plant with two engines will provide the "Raptor" with a maximum speed of more than 50 knots.
In addition, the "Raptor's" arsenal will include a new gyro-stabilized remotely controlled combat module "Narval" with a large-caliber "Kord" machine gun, two 7.62-millimeter machine guns, passive jamming systems, and laser irradiation detection.
The "Raptor" is designed to defend basing points, ships from attacks by small-sized surface targets in unprotected roadsteads, provide fire support for special forces and marine infantry units in coastal areas.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia created advanced protection for facilities against FPV drone attacks "Serp-VS6". The system allows detecting not only the UAV itself but also its operator, and also provides effective counteraction to the actively used FPV drones.
