Что будет с ценами на автомобили из-за санкций против Мосбиржи

Experts believe that cars will become more expensive, but it is not yet clear when

Sanctions from the U.S. Department of the Treasury and its Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) against the Moscow Exchange may affect the cost of new cars in Russia. This opinion is held by a number of industry experts.

There may be a surge in prices for cars and spare parts, caused by emotional excitement of the population, but this is in the short term.
Alexey Grigoriev, Vice President of the Russian Association of Automobile Dealers

Ilya Plisov, a member of the board of the Union of Car Services of Russia, reminded that the localization of the production of cars and spare parts for them is not at a high level — 70% of the parts are imported.

Maxim Kadakov, editor-in-chief of the magazine "Behind the Wheel", believes that the situation with prices for new cars — whether they will rise or not — will become clear in the fall. He emphasizes that there are enough cars in warehouses now, and dealers are unlikely to rewrite price tags.

Large manufacturers with their representative offices in Russia will react in the horizon of three to four months — therefore, prices may change closer to autumn.
Maxim Kadakov

The expert believes that if the price increase is 5%, it will not affect demand.

As a reminder, due to sanctions against the Moscow Exchange, trading in the dollar and euro currency pairs takes place on the over-the-counter market. The Central Bank now has to look not at exchange trading, but at the rates of banks that can manipulate the exchange rate, to calculate the dollar and euro exchange rate.

Earlier, www1.ru wrote that KamAZ admitted the impossibility of fully localizing truck production.
