NtechLab (a technological partner of the Rostec State Corporation) and the Chuvash Republic have announced plans to collaborate in the field of medical innovation. The main focus of this partnership will be the introduction of artificial intelligence for the diagnosis of brain diseases. The agreement between the parties was signed within the framework of the SPIEF-2024. The Head of Chuvashia, Oleg Nikolaev, and the General Director of NtechLab, Alexey Palamarchuk, signed the document.
The project also includes the introduction of intelligent video surveillance systems and the development of a system to support medical decision-making for disease prevention and risk factor identification. Chuvashia is actively implementing a healthcare digitalization strategy, providing residents with access to medical services through online channels and modern technologies.
We have been actively using artificial intelligence technologies in medicine since 2021. Voice assistants are used when registering for vaccination and for appointments with a doctor. In 2023, we introduced computer vision technology in radiation diagnostics – fluorography, mammography, radiography and computed tomography – this allows us to reduce the doctor's time spent on analyzing studies by at least half, and increase the accuracy of diagnosis
Alexey Palamarchuk noted that the company has a whole line of AI-based products aimed at improving the quality of life in the regions. NtechLab has ready-made solutions for public safety and healthcare, industrial production and agriculture.
The agreement signed with the region provides for piloting AI-based products for the diagnosis of brain diseases NtechMed CT Brain, as well as the use of advanced digital solutions to modernize transport infrastructure and improve the efficiency of processes in construction and housing and communal services.
The cooperation between Chuvashia and NtechLab is in line with the strategic plans for the development of the information society in Russia and the national strategy for the development of artificial intelligence until 2030. It is also part of the state program "Digital Society of Chuvashia" and the strategy of digital transformation of the economy and social sphere in the Chuvash Republic.
