Не развлечение, а транспорт: пользователи аренды самокатов в Москве получили более 50 тысяч штрафов

A total of 52 thousand accounts of drivers were blocked in the capital

Since the beginning of the spring season, users of electric scooter rental services in Moscow have received more than 50 thousand fines from operators, the capital's transport department press service reported.

Among the most frequent violations are: driving on a pedestrian crossing, riding one scooter together, and parking in the wrong place. Also, about 52 thousand accounts of kicksharing users were blocked.

A scooter is not entertainment, but transport. It is important to drive it safely, without interfering with pedestrians and other road users.

The capital's Department of Transportation added that State Traffic Inspectorate officers conduct regular raids on electric scooters on the roads, and the Situation Center of the Traffic Management Center sees the road situation online via cameras 24/7.

Kicksharing service operators fine users for violating the terms of service and driving rules, and also block accounts for gross and systemic violations of traffic rules and rental by minors.

Earlier www1.ru reported that in Moscow a technology called «Antitandem» will be launched. It will help track down violators who use electric scooters for riding together.
