Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) has unveiled a new version of the 5440 tractor unit. The model is designated 54402L-2531-031. Its release is timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the plant. The updated tractor unit features an improved cab and modern LED headlights.
The seats of the MAZ 54402L-2531-031 have air suspension and are softer than in regular versions. The truck is equipped with air conditioning, power windows, new-style power mirrors, and a refrigerator. The tractor unit also received fog lights, dimensions, and rear lights - LED. A visor is installed above the windshield.
The tractor unit has a 454-horsepower diesel engine - Weichai WP12. It is paired with a Fast Gear robotic gearbox. The truck has increased capacity fuel tanks and MAZ logo illumination.
