В Подмосковье открылось крупнейшее предприятие по переработке пластика

The plant was built in 23 months, and the project cost is estimated at 11.7 billion rubles

The largest plastic recycling complex in Eastern Europe, "EkoLine-Vtorplast," and a plant for the production of products from recycled granules, "EkoPlast," have opened in the Moscow region. The official opening of the production was announced on the Russian government portal.

Victoria Abramchenko, the Deputy Prime Minister of the enterprises, stated that the share of Russian technologies in the construction of the plant is 41%. The remaining part was purchased in friendly countries – China, Serbia, and Turkey.

The production chain at the plant is divided into several cycles. First, plastic waste is sorted at the "Vostok" enterprise. Then, recycled granules are created at the "EkoLine-Vtorplast" facilities. The final stage involves the creation of garbage containers and pallets at the "EkoPlast" plant. The enterprise will provide up to 200 new jobs.

Thanks to accumulated experience and international contacts in the field of waste management, we were able, under sanctions pressure, to equip the new enterprise with advanced equipment and technologies, including automatic sorting lines using neural networks, multi-stage washing complexes, and a closed water circulation system. This approach will ensure maximum preservation of the primary properties of the materials. And most importantly, the same products that were originally made can be made from recycled products, according to the bottle to bottle principle.
Alexander Svidovsky, General Director of "EkoLine-Vtorplast"

Denis Butsaev, head of the REO, noted that the enterprise was built in a record short time, in just 23 months. A factory complex of this capacity has become the only one in the entire Eastern European space.

It was previously noted that a plant for the production of batteries for drones is planned to be built in Russia.
