The missiles destroy ships and ground targets

The supersonic anti-ship missiles “Onyx” of the coastal missile systems (BRK) “Bastion” have been equipped with the latest active homing heads. With their help, missiles accurately hit targets on the ground, an informed source in the defense industry said.

Russian engineers are also working to make the “Onyx” invulnerable to the effects of electronic warfare (EW) systems, another source said. There has been no official confirmation of this data yet.

P-800 “Onyx” missiles were developed by specialists of MIC “NPO Mashinostroeniya”. Their goal is to destroy ships and ground targets in the face of oncoming fire and electronic countermeasures.

Application of BRK “Bastion” with “Onyx” missiles

“Onyx” are in service with ships and submarines of the Russian Navy, and are also used by calculations of the BRK “Bastion”.
