The United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) has shared its plans for eleven years. Until 2035, they intend to build 589 ships with a total value of 1.36 trillion rubles.
Prior to this, it became known that USC plans to increase the number of ships transferred to civilian enterprises by 44%. In particular, 36 ships are expected to be delivered in 2024, while 25 ships were delivered to customers in 2023.
According to Vedomosti, citing a USC presentation, they plan to produce:
- five icebreakers - for 143 billion rubles;
- twenty-two research vessels - for 155.5 billion rubles;
- thirty rescue vessels - for 287.6 billion rubles;
- thirty trawlers - for 81.6 billion rubles;
- forty-two crab catchers - for 72.7 billion rubles;
- fifty-five container ships - for 95.2 billion rubles.
The largest in number will be two categories of products from shipyards. These are 103 passenger ships with a total value of 64.6 billion rubles and 161 bulk carriers for 329.3 billion rubles.
It should be noted that these large-scale USC plans were announced without taking into account the construction of military ships and orders for the fleet. It is known that eight nuclear and non-nuclear submarines are currently in the process of completion and entering state testing are located. The USC's subsidiary design bureau is also actively working on the Arktur project - this is a new fifth generation of "faceted" nuclear submarines with more advanced missiles.
