In Moscow, a neural network will monitor the unusual behavior of drivers

The Moscow Traffic Management Center announced a tender for the creation of a video surveillance system "PROEvent". Thanks to the neural network, it will detect incidents and emergency situations on the streets and roads of the metropolis.

It is assumed that the "PROEvent" will be used for situations, mainly not related to non-compliance with traffic rules. This includes:

• the invasion of a vehicle into a prohibited area;
• intrusion of a pedestrian into a restricted area;
• registration of a cluster of vehicles moving at an average speed significantly slower than the normal speed for this area;
• movement of a separate vehicle at a speed significantly lower than the speed of the main flow.

Additionally, the system will send a separate signal in case of fire or detection of foreign suspicious objects on the road. These signals will be transmitted to emergency services.

In addition, the system will allow the Traffic Management Center to more quickly alert motorists about problems on their route.
