Bulgarian Military: "Viktor Veliky" Patrol Ship Equipped with Fregat-M2EM Radar

The crew of the Project 22160 vessel can track surface and air targets

The patrol ship "Viktor Veliky" (Project 22160) after sea trials in the Baltic will join the Black Sea Fleet. The vessel is equipped with advanced radar equipment, information from which is transmitted to the combat information post, writes Bulgarian Military.

The ship received advanced navigation and radar equipment, including the Fregat-M2EM radar. The device allows tracking surface and air targets with high accuracy.

"Viktor Veliky" carries the Pantsir-M anti-aircraft missile and artillery system (ZRAK) to intercept aircraft, missiles, and drones. The ship is armed with a 100 mm A-190 naval gun.

The patrol ship is designed to be converted to perform various tasks — from anti-piracy operations to providing humanitarian assistance.
