Reusable interceptor "Gadyuka" is 4 times faster than "Yolka" created at "DOFA-Tek"

The drone will be able to shoot down up to 20 targets in one sortie

The Russian company "DOFA-Tek" is developing the DF-3 "Gadyuka" interceptor drone, which will be 4 times faster than the mass-produced "Yolka". Marat Drofa, the manufacturer's CEO, spoke about the characteristics of the new product.

According to him, the main advantage of "Gadyuka" is its reusability.

It does not ram the target, but repels an attacking wave of 15-20 drones in one sortie.

"Gadyuka" will be able to accelerate to a speed of 850 km/h and hit targets using automatic weapons. Then the interceptor will return to the airfield, replenish supplies, and fly out to hunt again. The flight range is estimated at 800 km, DF-3 will remain in the air for up to 60 minutes.

It should be noted that the most common interceptor in Russia remains "Yolka", which flies to the target accelerating up to 200 km/h. However, it hits drones by ramming, that is, it acts as a kamikaze drone. Thanks to onboard sensors, the interceptor itself captures the target.
