Russian enterprises in the aircraft manufacturing industry have formed a reserve for the production of components for the MS-21 passenger liner, ahead of the assembly schedule. Deliveries of individual elements are already underway for the 31st aircraft kit, Aviation of Russia reported.
Composite wing consoles have been delivered up to and including the 24th aircraft kit. The 25th aircraft kit has already been manufactured and is in safekeeping in Ulyanovsk. There is no current need for it in assembly, so the plant is not cluttering the logistics center's space.
Panels from Ulyanovsk have already arrived for the 31st aircraft kit. OAK enterprises are supplying components for the 30th aircraft kits, while suppliers of purchased components are supplying for the 20th.
MS-21 suppliers are located in the Urals, Western Siberia, Samara, Ufa, Voronezh, Ulyanovsk, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. The plant receives metal, including from Kuzbass and Samara.
