The training of engineers for aircraft manufacturing was decided to be brought closer to the production of Su-57 and SJ-100: representatives of more than 20 Russian universities visited enterprises in Komsomolsk-on-Amur and discussed with aircraft manufacturers the requirements for future specialists.
A visiting meeting of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association (FUMO) in the areas of "Aviation and Rocket-Space Technology" and "Aeronautics and Operation of Aviation and Rocket-Space Technology" was held at Komsomolsk-on-Amur State University.
The meeting participants visited the Y. A. Gagarin Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant (KnAAZ), where they familiarized themselves with the production processes and current programs of the enterprise.
The plant is associated with the production of modern combat aircraft, including the Su-57, and Komsomolsk-on-Amur remains one of the key centers of Russian aircraft manufacturing. During the meeting with the enterprise management, special attention was paid to the training and attraction of young specialists.
The participants discussed curricula, training programs, and proposals for educational standards, so familiarization with production technologies directly at the plant should provide universities with an additional guideline for training engineers.
