According to foreign analysts, the digital pattern with alternating light and dark areas on the Su-57 should visually distort the machine's contours and make it difficult to assess its position.

Its pixelated digital coloring is ideal for misleading the enemy in close combat. Moreover, it deceives not only the human eye but also machine vision systems.

At the same time, visual camouflage is only one element of the Su-57's low observability, the publication added. Reduced radar visibility is provided by the airframe geometry, internal weapon bays, antenna placement, and radar-absorbing materials.

Su-57 fighters are also beginning to be equipped with stealth drones with air launch, which was not the case a few years ago.
